2025 is off to a flying start here in Wrike as we celebrate our groundbreaking agreement to acquire leading visual collaboration platform Klaxoon

But while our teams are busy preparing a whole new suite of cutting-edge capabilities, they’re also just as focused on perfecting the ones we have. That means new releases, exciting updates, and fresh features designed to make work flow.

Want to get the inside track on what we’ve been up to over the holidays? Dive into our monthly roundup of all the latest Wrike news now.

Wrike calendars get sweet new upgrades

What makes Wrike so popular is that it works for a wide variety of use cases, helping to power everything from global manufacturers like Siemens, which has 14,000 Wrike users in more than 20 countries, to diverse portfolios like The Estée Lauder Companies.

Each of our 30 brands has their own way of working. Wrike gives us consistency across our enterprise so we can report properly, but also allow for individualization.

We’re always listening for new ways to make Wrike work for everyone, which is why we’ve just released a new feature that allows users to differentiate milestones from other task entities on calendars.

One of our most-requested upgrades, this move will help teams add and highlight dates and deadlines for everything from marketing campaigns to product launches, events, and end-of-year filings.

We’ve also added:

  • Multiyear mode: Now you can enjoy a five-year view of your roadmaps, perfect for long-term planning for our enterprise customers.
  • Improved navigation: Toggle between quarter, year, and multiyear view modes to see both the past and future while focusing on your present.

Sounds good, right? Check it out — all of the above is available in Wrike now!

Our Table view is now better than ever

Are you sad to say goodbye to the old List view in Wrike this March? Me too! The good news is that you won’t miss it for long as our Table view now has all the great features you loved in lists — plus a whole lot more.

The all-new Table view is intuitive, unified, and simple to understand at a glance. That doesn’t mean it’s not powerful though, with advanced functionality woven through every cell.

Now users can also switch assignees and shift dates too, offering a fast and efficient way to reassign and reschedule tasks. Need to apply bulk changes? No problem, with a new mass-action function that can convert multiple tasks to milestones in just a couple of clicks.

These enhancements are designed to boost productivity and streamline organization, ensuring a smooth and cohesive user experience across our platform — just one of the many ways that we help our customers work smarter, not harder.

Introducing yet more ways to manage resources

In last month’s Wrike news, we introduced brilliant new timesheet features that help teams stay on track with time, hours, and resources. Now we’ve got even more enhancements to announce!

In response to customer needs, our developers built an integration between work schedules and timesheets, allowing users to mark, view, and manage non-working days like vacations and holidays directly from timesheets. These exception days are now visible in both features, bringing more consistency to resource management in modern teams.

So get to booking those vacation days now — it’s the best way to beat those January blues!

Making onboarding easier, faster, and more fun

Wrike is one of the most user-friendly platforms in the world, offering a short learning curve and enhanced support for new users.

It still takes time to build the perfect workspace, though, which is why we’ve introduced the ability to create a dashboard as a welcome item for new users.

That means that admins can now build a fully populated dashboard for new hires, complete with all the important spaces, projects, and tasks they’ll need. They can then:

  • Share a dashboard to all users within a group
  • Pin that dashboard to a new user’s navigation, easing discoverability
  • Use the dashboard as a jumping-off point, kick-starting work fast

It’s the ideal solution for a fast-paced environment where new team members need to hit the ground running. Want to learn more? Check out our Help Center article.

We’ve also recently introduced two new licenses that’ll help our users bring more people into the Wrike fold, including clients, external stakeholders, and ad-hoc freelancers.

  • The viewer license is completely free, allowing users to view and comment only on items that are shared with them in Wrike.
  • The contributor license enables end-users to do everything that collaborators can do, as well as manage time tracking, view dashboards, and change due dates.

This all helps to create one source of truth, encourage true collaboration, and streamline every workflow.
