New! Dynamic dates management feature
Say goodbye to manual adjustments and hello to effortless automation with our new dynamic dates management feature, the latest string in our Wrike Work Intelligence® bow.
Now, you can:
- Set dynamic start dates: Create a rule that kick-starts tasks immediately after their predecessors are finished, optimizing project timelines.
- Calculate task duration: Let AI determine a task’s duration based on its fields or values, like the type of task, project, or team.
- Track the change date of custom values: Keep an eye on progress by monitoring the date of a custom field change (or any other changes).
Want to see how it works? For example, you can now specify expressions like [Task start date] + 5 days or [Project start date] + [Duration] to calculate dates based on existing fields.
And if you need to clear dates, that’s no problem, either. Now, you can easily clear the start and/or due dates of tasks and projects, keeping tasks unscheduled until specific criteria are met or when a project needs to be reprioritized.
We love this type of flexibility in our marketing team, as it helps us ensure our project timelines are realistic and always in progress, even as priorities change. It also helps with resource scheduling, which is a key part of how technology giant NVIDIA uses Wrike.
Our software helps NVIDIA assign the right team members to critical tasks, track resource availability, forecast resources for future projects, and scan for roadblocks before they become delays.
This platform helps [us] align worldwide resources … everything from the beginning of the design all the way to after-action reviews … we collect, manage, and work it out in Wrike.
Lior Ofer, Vice President of NVIS

Subitems get a fresh redesign
As Steve Jobs famously said, “Details matter.” In Wrike, those details are often found in subitems, the unsung heroes of a seamless workflow. We thought it was time to give them the credit they deserve, so we’ve given them a makeover.
Now, you can enjoy a Table view-like experience that allows you to create, sort, and configure columns easily. Retaining its intuitive drag-and-drop functionality, this upgrade adapts seamlessly to the width of your view, eliminating disruptive switching between contexts.
That means faster navigation, reduced load times, and an intuitive interface for complex project execution. Small-but-mighty improvements like this add up, giving Wrike customers the opportunity to see up to 396% ROI over three years.

A host of new structured tools
One of the most common requests in the Wrike Community is the ability to organize our workspaces better. We already have powerful dashboards, complete personalization, and an easy-to-navigate interface.
Now, we’ve also added new structured tools that allow you to streamline the side panel by creating folders and organizing dashboards, reports, calendars, and more. This move is set to be welcomed by all Wrike users, especially those in bigger enterprises who manage complex structures and in-depth reports.
One example is Comflow Mechanical Services, which is an industrial and commercial contractor in Houston, Texas. Since adopting Wrike’s task management tools and project folders, it has seen a 25% increase in productivity, with 10 hours saved weekly, contributing to a 30% increase in revenue year on year.

We don’t live in a world of chaos. My employees are pretty stress-free, and a lot of that is because we know what’s happening day to day. And we know what’s happening next week. And it’s all laid out by using this tool.
Granger Snodgrass, Vice President of New Construction
Introducing Wrike’s onboarding bootcamp
As every one of our 20,000 customers knows, effective onboarding is the key to unlocking an employee’s potential. Getting to grips with a company’s software helps new hires feel comfortable, adept, and empowered to do their best work. In fact, research from Harvard Business Review suggests that effective onboarding programs can boost productivity by as much as 62%.
That’s why we’ve introduced an exciting new onboarding bootcamp, featuring everything you’ll need to help your new teammates get started with Wrike fast:
- An expertly built onboarding template: A two-week comprehensive plan complete with a progress dashboard, live sessions, and support materials
- In-product prompts: A pop-up widget to help improve discoverability for new users, guiding them toward helpful resources
Even if you’re not new to Wrike, taking this bootcamp is a good exercise, as it’ll help expand your expertise in the software. Check out our Help Center article to learn more.
