When we were named a "Best Place to Work" in the Bay Area by the San Francisco Business Times and Silicon Valley Business Journal in 2015, we asked ourselves: where do we go from here? We locked ourselves in a conference room to ponder this question, and braced for a long afternoon of brainstorming and debate.

30 seconds later, we emerged with an innovative idea: let's do it again in 2016.

And that's exactly what we did. It's been a wild and exciting year that saw us grow from 200 employees to over 400. We opened two new offices, released countless new features to our platform, and on-boarded thousands of new customers. All the while, we formed friendships with our colleagues, and continued to grow the culture of passion, learning, and collaboration that defines us as a company. Here are some of the highlights from the year.

Great Events with Amazing People
In January 2016, we returned to Puerto Vallarta for our second annual kickoff event. Over 150 Wrikers from 5 offices around the world gathered in PV for three days of fun, learning, and celebrating our success in 2015.

We also kept a busy schedule of local events including team outings to Giants games, picnics, happy hours, and GoKart races. Our emphasis on team building and celebrating our success keeps the atmosphere light, fun, and collaborative in the office.

New Levels of Leadership
In 2015 and 2016, we added several new executives from some of tech's most successful companies. These new leaders in our marketing, sales, finance, and product teams have brought another level of excellence to our operation, driven exciting improvements to Wrike as a platform, and created new growth and learning opportunities for all members of our team.

Movin' On Up
At Wrike, we want to create an environment where high performance and demonstrated leadership bring new opportunities and challenges. In the last 12 months, many Wrikers were awarded promotions into roles with new responsibilities and management opportunities.

In addition to new promotions, about a dozen members of our sales and customer success teams helped lead Wrike's growth in Southern California. Watching those individuals grow their team and support each other as they've hired and trained a new class of Wrikers in San Diego has been inspiring and motivating for everyone in the company.

Improving Benefits
We've also made significant improvements to the benefits package that we offer our team members. We've upgraded our options for healthcare, dental and vision, and retirement savings. Daily lunch service and unlimited snacks is also a welcome perk around Wrike's offices - not to mention our dedicated fridge full of La Croix!

Looking Forward
It's great to be back on the list of Best Places to Work in the Bay Area for the second year in a row! Looking towards the future, we are excited to keep building a strong culture of smart, kind people who like to have fun while they work, and who bring their amazing ideas to help deliver as much value to our customers as possible.
