If you’re like me, and you’ve spent any time learning about AI, you’ve heard of NVIDIA, the company whose chips are literally powering the future of technology. NVIDIA designs, manufactures, and sells software and GPUs (graphics processing units) used for generative AI, gaming, cryptocurrency, robots, vehicles, and more. NVIDIA also builds AI factories, where external partners can run their own AI systems.

The team getting those factories up and running quickly and efficiently is the NVIDIA Infrastructure Services team, or NVIS. The team is responsible for deploying, installing, consulting, and building NVIDIA AI factories together with their customers and partners.

Vice President of NVIS, Lior Ofer, sat down with us to discuss how his team has come to rely on Wrike to deliver complex professional services around the globe.

“Our mission is to build NVIDIA AI factories at the speed of light,” Lior explained. “And when I say speed of light, I don’t mean as fast as possible, I mean as perfect as possible, given all kinds of considerations.” That’s no small feat for any organization to achieve.

The NVIS team had previously relied on Salesforce to manage their processes, but with the rapid rate of growth and scope of projects, they needed a more robust solution that allowed their global workforce to align their processes, information, and results. That’s where Wrike delivered.

Wrike now powers the entire 300-person NVIS team as they manage the scope, progress, and delivery of different types of services at an impressive rate. Lior said the move to Wrike in late 2023 was significant, but seamless. “There was a huge leap when I said to the team, ‘No more spreadsheets.’”

Fast forward to 2025, and NVIDIA’s NVIS team is now using Wrike to manage every element of their workflows. “Wrike became our tool of excellence for the team.”

What Wrike looks like in action at NVIDIA

NVIDIA NVIS uses Wrike to track objectives and key results (OKRs) via dashboards where managers can see exactly how projects are progressing, what’s on track, and where help is needed — in real time. Wrike also integrates with Salesforce to create a strong connection between sales opportunities, project delivery, and invoicing. And NVIDIA’s NVIS team uses Wrike to ensure that no GPU ever sits idle, thanks to Wrike’s resource scheduling and task management features.

We use Wrike, not just for resource and project management, but we also use it for project telemetry and customer visibility of what we do and our actions, and everything is bubbling up to the most senior level.

Lior Ofer, Vice President of NVIS

With Wrike’s resource scheduling, NVIDIA can assign the right team members to critical tasks, track resource availability in real time, minimize downtime for GPUs and other hardware, forecast resources for future projects, and keep projects on track by addressing issues before they cause delays. Thanks to Wrike, they can manage these huge, complex operations smoothly and to the level of perfection they aspire to.
