Welcome to our September roundup of recent product updates here at Wrike! As the leaves start to change and we embrace the onset of autumn, our dedicated team has been hard at work implementing innovative updates to enhance your Wrike experience.
Timesheet approvals are now available
You asked, we delivered! Timesheet approvals, previously in Wrike Labs, were one of the most requested features from our users and are now accessible to all Enterprise Pinnacle accounts.
Now, you can review, approve, and restrict your team’s timesheets to prepare for monthly billing or payroll. Once a timesheet is approved, the time tracking data is locked per approved week per person, ensuring that no additional time can be tracked. This will help prevent unexpected changes and preserve the data for accurate reporting and financial tracking.
Time means money, so it’s highly important to stay on top of billable amounts and expenses. And this is where timesheet approvals come in handy!

More enhancements for Wrike’s mobile app
Our developers have added even more updates, making Wrike for mobile even better than before:
- Enhanced Pinned section support: You can easily pin any calendar tool to the Pinned section for swift access to key schedules and timelines.
- Navigate complex data: Use different options within the subitems menu to navigate complex data using the “Expand All,” “Collapse All,” and “Expand Next Level” options.
These latest updates are just some of the many ways we make our mobile app the best on the market today, with full functionality for seamless work, wherever you are in the world.
Customize your views and work your way
Our teams are committed to making Wrike work the best for you. This month, they’ve made customizing your fields and views their top priority, and now you can finally:
- Set read-only custom fields to give you granular control over and easily specify who can modify field values, ensuring the right people have the right access
- Copy custom views, including columns, custom fields, and view settings, from one location to another (up to 30 locations) and to all top-level subprojects and subfolders (up to 1,000 locations)
- Find projects, folders, and tasks with subtasks collapsed by default upon accessing your Table view for the first time in a specific folder, with only the first-level items shown
New features and improvements for dashboards
Our latest updates to dashboards bring a range of new features and improvements.
Calculated custom fields are now even more powerful, supporting all field types and formulas to ramp up your data analysis capabilities. We’ve also upgraded our calendar widgets to fully support public links, making it easy for you to share your calendars.
For those of you who love a clear project view, we’ve added an “Include subtasks” setting for custom fields. We’ve made enhancements to support location as a parameter to simplify and scale your project-level reporting. Now, you can create a report once and use it anywhere you like.
