Gartner® named Wrike a Leader in 2024 Magic Quadrant™

We’ll kick off our December update with exciting news: Wrike was recognized by Gartner® as a Leader in the 2024 Magic Quadrant™ for Collaborative Work Management and scored in the 2024 Critical Capabilities companion report. According to the assessment:

“Leaders continually enhance their offerings, delivering platforms that are functionally robust and demonstrably benefit customers. They possess a well-defined product roadmap aimed at strengthening the product’s market position and safeguarding buyers’ investments. Furthermore, they cater to a variety of use cases and address emerging business challenges.”

Now, on to some of those product enhancements that helped Wrike win a top spot again this year!

New timesheet submission rules

If timesheet submissions got the best of you last year, 2025 is a great time to take advantage of Wrike’s latest update. Admins can now set daily or weekly limits on hours submitted in timesheets, which will enhance compliance and streamline time-tracking approvals.

These limits can be hard restrictions, where users can’t submit timesheets with less than or more than their configured capacity per day or week. Or, they could be soft restrictions, where users will be prompted to confirm their input before timesheet submission if the number of hours is less or more than their capacity.

You can engage timesheet submission rules on Enterprise Pinnacle accounts and begin streamlining your timesheet process to kick off the new year.

Timesheet reminders keep users on track

If you’ve ever forgotten to fill out your timesheet, or if you’ve ever had to pester your direct reports to fill out theirs, you know how useful this latest timesheet update will be. Wrike can now be configured to remind you with weekly notifications to complete and submit your timesheet, eliminating time-consuming back-and-forth required for manual reminders from managers.

This update is available across our Business, Enterprise, and Enterprise Pinnacle plans. It will further enhance compliance with timesheet approvals and help increase timeliness of data collection for payroll and reporting.

Get the info you need with AI Q&A

You know that feeling where you’re certain there’s a piece of information in Wrike, but you just can’t put your finger on it? This can easily happen when you’ve got a high volume of tasks or comments coming through, and our new AI Q&A (Ask a Question) feature in Labs is the perfect solution.

AI Q&A enables users to ask questions about knowledge within their own Wrike items, using AI to retrieve information from comments, descriptions, and fields. When you open the chat by clicking the “Ask a question” button in the project, folder, or space header, you can ask AI to find a specific piece of information. When you receive a response, you can check the “Sources” section to confirm that’s where the information is — and to dive deeper if needed.

This feature is the third addition to our Work Intelligence® Preview Labs bundle. To enable the bundle in Labs, your account needs to have the main GenAI feature enabled in account management.

Improvements to our mobile app make work smoother on the go

We’re always adjusting our mobile app to make working on the go smoother. This time, we’ve made it easy to pin or unpin dashboards from the mobile app, giving you quick access to the most important insights wherever you are.

You can now also drag and drop tasks in Board view within our Wrike mobile app, making task management even easier when you’re on site or out of the office. These two simple yet critical updates mean you can organize your workflow better and keep tasks moving forward from the convenience of your phone.

Learn more about the features you can enable to make work flow in our Community Help Center.
